Look Out For Yourself

I think I spend too much time saying “no worries” or “no problem” when I should be saying, “No, that wasn’t okay when you left me like that” or “No, you can’t just treat me like that then say sorry.” It’s bad that it becomes automatic. It’s a disservice to my own feelings and to myself because it’s not no problem, it’s a problem when people walk all over you. Don’t get into the habit of saying that it’s okay or nothing to worry about. Look out for yourself. Stand up for yourself. Know what you deserve.

Communicate. Even when it’s uncomfortable or uneasy. One of the best ways to heal, is simply getting everything out.
