“The one big problem of having had your heart broken, you will always doubt when someone shows an interest in you. I’m still waiting for the day when I can sigh with no worries, love with no limits, and enjoy someone without the fear of knowing that they will not always be there. It’s one of the outcomes of allowing yourself to be vulnerable, and I just want to encourage those of you that have been wounded in the past to continue loving. I don’t know what the future will look for us, but I hope it comes with a big sigh of relief and an ability to be vulnerable without pain.”
“Stop trying to get over heartbreak so quickly, you would never tell a wounded person to hurry up and recover. We all know that healing takes time, and sometimes the emotional wound is very deep, so we need to treat it seriously. You’ll be frustrated that you haven’t moved on, but you will one day.”
No matter how long or it takes it to move on from a heartbreak, never forget that the love you have in your heart was always meant to keep hoping and keep persevering for better things ahead. One day you will meet someone who will make you realize why it never worked out with anybody else. Trust the journey of your healing – I know how hard it can be – and believe that the best is yet to come.
