“The Little Things, The Little Moments? They Aren’t Little.”

“Get excited about the little things. About wearing a new outfit for the first time. About Sunday brunches with your best friends. About the new cute guy in your class. About finding an extra dollar in your pocket. About anything that even remotely makes you happy because as you grow up, passions fade and enthusiasm gets mistaken for foolishness. So don’t let the grey world stop you from shining.”

“I began to realize how important it was to be an enthusiast in life. If you are interested in something, no matter what it is, go at it full speed ahead. Embrace it with both arms, hug it, love it and above all become passionate about it. Lukewarm is no good.”
Roald Dahl

“Life, I really believe, is about falling in love. With ideas, with stories, with experiences, mistakes, adventures, poetry, imaginations, old books, new books, movies, music, and, of course, people. Everything that is worthwhile in this world is worth falling in love with, and I can’t imagine a better way to live one’s life than to be always head over heels.”

I firmly believe that it’s the small things in life that really make it worth living. I love getting excited about putting a new song I love on repeat, the smell of freshly brewed chai latte, lighting candles after a long day, smiles from strangers, hot showers on cold days,  laughing until tears roll down your cheeks and looking up to realize how breathtaking the sunset is that evening. I love noticing the color of autumn leaves, the beautiful sound the rain makes on the roof and the unceasing motion and consistency of the ocean. As someone who has deep lows and still has mild depression, finding the beauty and magic in everyday is something very important and meaningful for me.

Find something to look forward to everyday, no matter how small – it can make the difference between a life that feels endured, and a life that is so much more wonderful and worth living!
